We are working with a specialist Pan-European Real Estate Investment Manager who are looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to work alongside the Head of Finance and support the wider finance function with managing the fund’s financial reporting.

The objective is to ensure high quality financial data, reporting, risk management and fully supporting the wider finance and operations teams to serve the various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full management accounts for a large number of UK entities.

• Assisting with Fund and SPV liquidity (cash management), board approvals, documentation, transfers in relation to transactions and provide on-going liquidity and repatriate cash.

• Full responsibility for posting journals and oversight of any postings made (monthly).

• Preparation of cashflow forecasts/P&L on an ad-hoc project basis.

• Supporting with the year-end audit.

• Assist with preparing/reviewing/submitting CIS and VAT returns.

• Management of a large number of historic reconciliations which need to reconciling with various ledgers, inter-company balance sheets, etc.

Key Person Specification:

• Very strong financial analyst & data management experience.

• Experienced with regulatory reporting with banking and other lease counterparts, such as debt facilities, operating agreements, lease terms & SLAs.

• This role requires someone coming with strong finance experience in a highly complex group environment.

• Ideally you will be coming from a Real Estate background.

• Experience working on separate projects (such as financial on-boarding or oversight of an internal audit) in a previous role will be highly advantageous.

• Intermediate Excel skills.

The role is full time based in their London office 4 days p/w and 1 day wfh. Salary up to £70k plus bonus & benefits.

Management Accountant

Manchester

£35,000 - £40,000

We are working with a specialist Pan-European Real Estate Investment Manager who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to work alongside both the Financial Controller & Finance Director. It’s imperative that you are either a newly qualified accountant or at the very latter stages of becoming qualified (either ACCA or CIMA). This role will be based in their Manchester office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full management accounts for a small number of UK entities.

• Full responsibility for posting journals and oversight of any postings made (monthly).

• Preparation of cashflow forecasts/P&L on an ad-hoc project basis.

• Supporting with the year-end audit.

• Assist with preparing/reviewing/submitting CIS and VAT returns.

• Any compliance experience would be highly advantageous, as you will assist with internal AML requirements and monitor debt compliance for clients.

Key Person Specification:

• Experience working in either a management accounts role or coming from a financial analyst background looking to move into a more commercial accounts role.

• Ideally you will be coming from a Real Estate background.

• Experience working on separate projects (such as financial on-boarding or oversight of an internal audit) in a previous role will be highly advantageous.

• This role requires someone with at least intermediate Excel skills (not for reporting purposes). If you have experience working on Yardi Voyager that will be highly advantageous.

The role is based in the Manchester office working 3 days in the office and 2 days based at home, salary is £35k-£40k plus benefits.
